The COMP Cams CL11-443-8 XE series camshaft and lifter kit is designed specifically for Chevrolet big block engines (396-454 cubic inch applications). This complete kit delivers improved throttle response and power gains throughout the mid-range RPM band while maintaining good street manners and vacuum for power accessories.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised duration: 280°/288° intake/exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 242°/248° intake/exhaust
  • Valve lift: .544"/.565" intake/exhaust (with 1.7 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe separation angle: 110°
  • RPM range: 2,500-6,500
  • Hydraulic roller design for reduced friction and increased durability

Complete Kit Includes:

  • XE series hydraulic roller camshaft
  • Premium hydraulic roller lifters (16 pieces)
  • Assembly lubricant for proper break-in

This hydraulic roller cam is ideal for street/strip applications where increased power is desired without sacrificing reliability. The XE series grinds are known for their excellent power characteristics combined with streetable idle quality. Requires aftermarket valve springs and compatible timing set (not included). Factory-ground on COMP Cams' proprietary core castings for consistent quality and performance.
