Product Details

The COMP Cams CL11-556-4 Nitrous HP camshaft and lifter kit is specifically engineered for nitrous oxide applications in Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 engines. This complete kit delivers aggressive performance with a 218°/230° advertised duration split, designed to maximize power under nitrous injection while maintaining excellent low-end torque characteristics.

Key Features:

  • Hydraulic flat tappet design for reliable street and strip performance
  • 218° intake / 230° exhaust advertised duration optimized for nitrous applications
  • Complete kit includes camshaft, hydraulic lifters, assembly lube, installation instructions, and COMP Cams decals
  • Purpose-built valve timing for maximum power gains with nitrous oxide systems
  • Compatible with Chevrolet Big Block 396, 402, 427, and 454 cubic inch engines
  • Aggressive lobe profiles designed to handle the increased cylinder pressures of nitrous injection

This camshaft kit provides everything needed for a complete cam swap, making it ideal for street/strip builds and nitrous-equipped big block Chevrolet applications. The hydraulic flat tappet design offers excellent durability and requires no valve lash adjustments, while the duration specifications deliver strong mid-range to top-end power perfect for drag racing and high-performance street use.
