The COMP Cams CL11-771-8 Xe Series solid roller camshaft and lifter kit is designed for high-performance Chevrolet big block engines (396-454 cubic inches). This complete kit provides a significant upgrade over stock camshafts, delivering increased horsepower and torque throughout the RPM range with an aggressive performance profile.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised duration: 242° intake / 248° exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 288° intake / 294° exhaust
  • Valve lift: .525" intake / .540" exhaust (with 1.7:1 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe separation angle: 110°
  • Solid roller design for maximum performance and reliability

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Xe Series solid roller camshaft
  • High-performance solid roller lifters (16)
  • Assembly lubricant for proper break-in
  • Installation instructions
  • COMP Cams decals

This camshaft is ideal for street/strip applications with manual transmissions and 9.5:1 or higher compression. The solid roller design eliminates the valvetrain flex associated with hydraulic lifters, providing precise valve control at high RPM. Recommended RPM range is 1,800-6,200 with a power band of 2,800-6,200 RPM. Requires aftermarket valve springs, pushrods, and roller timing set (not included).
