The COMP Cams CL20-230-4 Xtreme Energy camshaft and lifter kit delivers excellent performance gains for small block Chrysler 273-360 cubic inch engines. This solid flat tappet cam is designed to provide strong mid-range to upper RPM power, making it ideal for street/strip applications and engines with aftermarket cylinder heads, intake manifolds, and headers.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 276° intake / 282° exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 236° intake / 242° exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .513" intake / .520" exhaust (with 1.5:1 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 110°
  • Recommended RPM Range: 2,000-6,000 RPM
  • Solid flat tappet design for durability and performance

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Energy camshaft
  • High-quality solid flat tappet lifters (16)

This camshaft produces a noticeable lope at idle and requires a higher stall speed torque converter (2,400-2,800 RPM) and 3.55:1 or steeper rear gears for optimal performance. Best suited for engines with 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio. Valve spring upgrade is required—consult COMP Cams specifications for proper spring selection.
