The COMP Cams K11-443-8 Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft kit is designed for Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 engines seeking aggressive street performance with smooth idle quality. This complete K-Kit features a 242/248 duration profile that delivers improved throttle response, increased mid-range torque, and enhanced horsepower throughout the RPM range.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 282°/288° intake/exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 242°/248° intake/exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .525"/.540" intake/exhaust (with 1.7:1 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 110°

Recommended for vehicles with 2,500+ stall converter and 3.73:1 or higher rear gear ratio for optimal performance.
