The COMP Cams CL12-556-4 Nitrous HP camshaft and lifter kit is specifically engineered for small block Chevrolet engines running nitrous oxide systems. This complete kit delivers aggressive performance with a 218/230 duration split designed to maximize power under nitrous while maintaining strong naturally aspirated characteristics.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 268°/280° intake/exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 218°/230° intake/exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .480"/.480" (with 1.5 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 110°
  • Hydraulic flat tappet design for reliable operation

This camshaft produces a strong idle with a noticeable lope, excellent mid-range torque, and aggressive top-end power. The profile is designed to work with stock or aftermarket cylinder heads, intake manifolds, and headers. Recommended operating range is 1,500-6,000 RPM with peak power occurring between 4,500-6,000 RPM. Ideal for street/strip applications, drag racing, and high-performance street machines equipped with nitrous systems.

I paid for 2nd day shipping and 5 days later they were shipped out. So, I should receive my rotors in a full week from when I paid for 2 day shipping. I called customer service and they discounted the shipping rate to ground service. At least they were polite and helpful in the phone.
