The COMP Cams CL42-227-4 High Energy camshaft and lifter kit delivers improved performance for Oldsmobile V8 engines from 260 to 455 cubic inches. This hydraulic flat tappet camshaft features a 206/206 degree duration profile designed to increase mid-range torque and horsepower while maintaining excellent street manners and reliability.

  • Advertised Duration: 260°/260° intake/exhaust
  • Duration @ .050": 206°/206° intake/exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .420"/.442" intake/exhaust (with 1.6 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 112°
  • Recommended RPM Range: 1,000-5,000
  • Recommended Valve Springs: COMP Cams #910 or equivalent
