Product Details

The BBK 15290 shorty headers are designed specifically for 1994-1995 Ford Mustang 5.0L V8 engines, featuring equal-length 1-5/8" primary tubes for improved exhaust scavenging and performance. These headers deliver a bolt-on power gain of 10-15 horsepower by reducing exhaust backpressure and improving exhaust flow over restrictive factory manifolds.

Key Features:

  • Equal-length 1-5/8" primary tube design for optimal exhaust scavenging
  • Precision laser-cut 3/8" thick one-piece flanges prevent warping and exhaust leaks
  • Heavy-wall CNC mandrel-bent tubing maintains consistent diameter throughout bends
  • Polished silver ceramic coating provides heat resistance and corrosion protection
  • Shorty design fits without modifications and works with most exhaust systems
  • 50-state EPA legal for street use
  • Complete installation kit includes gaskets and hardware

BBK shorty headers offer an excellent balance of performance and practicality for Fox-body Mustang owners, providing noticeable power gains without requiring extensive modifications. The ceramic coating helps reduce underhood temperatures while protecting against rust and corrosion for long-lasting performance.
