The COMP Cams K32-224-4 Magnum hydraulic flat tappet camshaft K-Kit is a complete performance upgrade solution designed for Ford 351 Cleveland, 351 Modified, and 400 Modified V8 engines (1970-1983). This comprehensive kit delivers improved performance for mild street machines and street/strip applications with its aggressive 224/224 duration profile.

Complete K-Kit Includes:

  • Magnum 270H hydraulic flat tappet camshaft with cast iron construction
  • High-energy hydraulic flat tappet lifters (832-16)
  • Upgraded valve springs with 1.460-inch outer diameter (972-16)
  • 10-degree steel superlock retainers (747-16)
  • Single groove valve locks with lash cap recess (611-16)
  • Umbrella valve stem seals for stock guide size (502-16)
  • Magnum double-row timing chain set (2121)
  • Assembly lubricant for flat tappet installation
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

Performance Specifications:

  • Operating RPM Range: 1,800-5,800
  • Duration at .050-inch lift: 224° intake / 224° exhaust
  • Advertised duration: 270° intake / 270° exhaust
  • Valve lift (with 1.73:1 rocker ratio): .519-inch intake / .519-inch exhaust

Recommended Setup: This camshaft delivers excellent results with stock torque converter, 3.30-4.00 rear gear ratio, and headers. Produces a mild rough idle character while maintaining good street manners. Requires higher compression ratio, improved rear-end gearing, and enhanced induction compared to stock for optimal performance.

Note: CARB exempt for racing and off-road competition vehicles only. Not compatible with computer-controlled emissions systems.
