Product Details

The Gates 26537 Green Stripe Vulco-Flex Coolant Hose is a heavy-duty flexible radiator hose engineered to replace both straight and curved OEM coolant hoses across a wide range of trucks, buses, and heavy-duty vehicles. Its semi-universal design means one hose can cover multiple applications, delivering maximum market coverage with minimum inventory requirements.

Featuring a built-in spiral wire support, this hose maintains its shape under pressure while remaining flexible enough to route through tight engine compartments. The hose inside diameter stays constant from end to end, and the smooth interior tube — free of internal convolutions — ensures unrestricted, free-flowing coolant transfer.

Key Features:

  • 2-3/4 in. (70 mm) inside diameter — consistent end to end for optimal flow
  • Flexible spiral-wire construction — permanent replacement hose equal in performance to molded hose
  • Smooth interior bore with no convolutions for unrestricted coolant flow
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD) — the leading cause of hose failure
  • Resistant to coolants, oil, and ozone for long service life
  • Approved for heavy-duty and marine applications
  • Semi-universal fitment reduces the need for stocking multiple part numbers

The Gates Green Stripe Vulco-Flex hose is built to perform as a permanent OEM-quality replacement in demanding cooling system environments. Note: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed.

I looked around for the best peice for a set of Sparco seats. I found them on autoplicity much cheaper then anywhere else. I figured it would take a few days to ship, but by the time i decided to call for a tracking #, I got an email with tracking # and that my seat was all ready to be delivered the next day. They didnt ship together because they were out of stock for a day or 2. I called about my other seat a few days later and it was already delivered at my door. Any future purchases will be checked with autoplicity 1st.

Great site. Provided needed technical specs. Shipped promptly. Although I had to ask for the tacking number, it was not emailed, one was provided promptly upon request.
