ARP 235-4203 Pro Series Head Stud Kit - 12-Point ARP2000

The ARP 235-4203 Pro Series Head Stud Kit delivers professional-grade engine fastening performance for high-performance and competition engines. Featuring ARP2000 material with 12-point heads, this kit provides the ultimate in clamping force and reliability for demanding applications.

Premium ARP2000 Material & Manufacturing:

• ARP2000 alloy rated at 200,000 psi tensile strength for maximum clamping force
• Vertical rack heat-treatment ensures complete and consistent heat penetration throughout each stud
• Centerless ground after heat-treat for exceptional concentricity and straightness
• Thread rolled after heat-treatment for 10x better fatigue strength compared to pre-heat-treat threading
• 12-point head design for precise torque application and easy access

Performance Advantages:

• Undercut shorter studs equalize stretch for consistent clamping force across all fasteners
• Compensates for head gasket compression to help prevent gasket failure
• Allows cylinder heads and gaskets to align perfectly during assembly
• Studs stretch only on vertical axis during torquing, providing more accurate and consistent torque loading compared to bolts
• Reduces cylinder head removal and installation time for race engines requiring frequent service

Kit Includes:

• Complete head stud set for application
• Hardened parallel-ground washers for even load distribution and accurate torque readings
• Premium ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant (recommended for proper installation)

Each stud is manufactured to exacting ARP tolerances and stamped with the ARP logo as assurance of zero-defect quality. This Pro Series kit is designed for competition and high-performance applications where maximum strength and reliability are essential.

Installation Note: Studs should be installed finger-tight in a relaxed mode. After initial torquing and engine break-in, re-torque all fasteners to compensate for head gasket compression.
