Product Details

The ARP 200-6205 is a high-performance connecting rod bolt kit designed as a direct replacement for Lentz connecting rods. This 16-piece kit features ARP2000 Pro Series bolts without washers, delivering superior strength and reliability for demanding racing applications.

ARP2000 Material Advantage:

ARP2000 is an advanced alloy steel heat-treated to achieve a clamping load at 220,000 psi, offering significantly greater strength than standard 8740 chrome moly bolts. This material is widely used in short track and drag racing applications as a proven upgrade for both steel and aluminum connecting rods, providing excellent resistance to stress corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement when properly installed.

Key Features:

  • Forged in-house at ARP using premium quality materials
  • Heat-treated using specialized vertical racks for complete 360-degree penetration
  • Threads rolled after heat-treat to provide up to 10 times longer fatigue life
  • Precision CNC-machined to exacting specifications
  • Engineered specifically for Lentz connecting rod applications
  • Each bolt proudly stamped with the ARP name as assurance of quality

Critical Maintenance Note:

Monitor the stretch of each bolt carefully and replace when permanently elongated by 0.0005 inches to ensure continued reliability and safety.

Kit Contents:

  • 16 ARP2000 Pro Series connecting rod bolts
  • Washers not included

ARP rod bolts have been proven in testing to deliver ten times the fatigue strength of competing fasteners, making them the preferred choice of professional engine builders and connecting rod manufacturers worldwide.
