Product Details

The COMP Cams 3100-10 Hi-Tech Roller Race Timing Set is engineered for high-performance small block Chevrolet engines ranging from 265 to 400 cubic inches. This precision timing set features a roller chain design that reduces friction and wear compared to traditional silent chain sets, making it ideal for racing and high-RPM applications.

Key Features:

  • Double roller chain construction for maximum strength and reliability
  • Precision-machined steel sprockets with heat-treated teeth for extended durability
  • Designed for crankshafts machined .010" undersized on the snout diameter
  • Compatible with 1978-1986 Chevrolet V6 and small block Chevy V8 engines (265-400 CI)
  • Reduced friction roller design maintains accurate valve timing at high RPM
  • Includes all necessary hardware for installation

This timing set is specifically designed for crankshafts that have been machined to .010" undersize on the snout, providing a proper fit for rebuilt engines or performance applications where the crankshaft has been modified. The roller chain design ensures consistent valve timing even under extreme racing conditions, while the precision-machined components provide a perfect fit and long service life.
