The ARP 135-4002 Head Stud Kit delivers professional-grade engine fastening performance using premium 8740 chrome moly steel construction. Designed for high-performance and competition applications, these studs are engineered to provide superior clamping force and reliability compared to standard head bolts.

Advanced Manufacturing Process:

  • Thread rolling performed after heat-treat provides 10x better fatigue strength
  • Undercut design on shorter studs equalizes stretch for consistent clamping force

Performance Benefits:

Head studs offer significant advantages over bolts for engine assembly. Studs install finger-tight in a relaxed state, then stretch only on the vertical axis when torqued, eliminating the twisting forces that affect bolts.
