Product Details

The Cometic C5435 is a precision-engineered camshaft seal designed specifically for Chevrolet Gen-1 Small Block V8 engines. This seal prevents oil leakage at the camshaft retainer plate, ensuring proper lubrication system integrity and preventing external oil leaks that can lead to contamination and engine bay mess.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement seal for Gen-1 Small Block Chevy V8 engines (262-400ci)
  • High-quality construction designed to withstand heat and pressure
  • Prevents oil seepage at the timing cover camshaft interface
  • Manufactured by Cometic Gasket, a trusted name in performance sealing solutions
  • Essential component for timing cover removal and engine rebuilds

This camshaft seal is compatible with classic Chevrolet Small Block engines including 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, and 400 cubic inch variants. Recommended for installation whenever the timing cover is removed or during engine overhauls to prevent future oil leaks.

Very competitive prices and fast FREE shipping! Will do business with Autoplicity again!

Really good prices and fast delivery.

Real easy to use

My initial review was 1 star because I ordered a Thule rooftop cargo box, but cancelled the order after Autoplicity called me about collecting extra money to ship the item after their website did not charge me enough for shipping. After my initial review Autoplicity offered to ship the item totally free since the issue was a flaw in their website. This was unexpected, above and beyond in my opinion. I have yet to receive the item but commend Autoplicity's customer service

Shipped and received in quick fashion. Item arrived as expected. Would definitely buy from again!

they had the lowest price around for my car's k&n air filter. A great product at wholesale prices!
