Spectra FG29D Premium Fuel Tank Sending Unit

The Spectra Premium FG29D is a direct-fit replacement fuel tank sending unit engineered to restore accurate fuel level readings to your dashboard gauge. Designed to OE fit, form, and function requirements, this sending unit delivers the same performance as your original equipment at an aftermarket value.

The fuel tank sending unit monitors fuel level in the tank using a float connected to a variable resistor. As fuel level drops, the float descends and reduces current through the resistor, signaling the dash gauge accordingly. A faulty sending unit can result in inaccurate or non-functional fuel gauge readings — making timely replacement essential.

Key Features:

• OE-matched design — accurate dimensions, original inlet/outlet positions, and OE-matched electrical connections for a precise drop-in fit
• Dichromate-plated finish — provides superior corrosion resistance for long-lasting durability
• Palladium silver alloy rheostat — outperforms inferior copper alloy used by many aftermarket manufacturers, offering improved resistance to fuel degradation
• Gradient density strainer — helps protect the fuel pump from debris and contamination
• Improved OE-style connectors — minimize electrical resistance and enhance heat dissipation
• Includes strainer, lock ring, O-ring, and all necessary terminals and connectors
• Float included where applicable to match original equipment configuration

Spectra Premium fuel tank sending units are validated through rigorous testing to meet or exceed original equipment performance standards, giving you confidence in every installation.
