Product Details

The Cometic C5861-040 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for the Subaru EZ30D Mark I horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine. This left-hand side (LHS) gasket features a 90mm bore diameter and 0.040-inch compressed thickness, providing an optimal seal between the cylinder head and engine block.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 0.040-inch (1.02mm) compressed thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
  • 90mm bore diameter engineered for Subaru EZ30D applications
  • Left-hand side (LHS) gasket configuration
  • Premium materials resist corrosion and extreme temperatures
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with elastomeric coating ensure maximum conformability

Cometic MLS gaskets are built with multiple layers of stainless steel that adapt to engine movement and surface imperfections, creating a reliable seal under high compression and extreme heat conditions. The advanced MLS design eliminates the need for retorquing and provides excellent resistance to blowout, making this gasket ideal for both stock and performance Subaru EZ30D engine builds. This gasket is designed for the Mark I version of the EZ30D engine found in various Subaru models.

Fast shipping, great product. Nothing more needs to be said.

thanks

Autoplicity was quick and easy. Painless web format. Shiped right away. And reasonably priced too.

Great communication, Great prices! They beat all the competitors hands down on price for my cold air intake order #18986. Quick shipping and they are now in my favorites for places to look for automobile needs. The only thing I would like to see them change is the speed of their website.

Had a little trouble finding the item needed. A search option would be helpful.

Cheap prices, great quality, and fast delivery. Autoplicity will continue to receive my patronage.
