The Gates 22408 is a premium molded lower radiator coolant hose engineered as a direct OE replacement for the vehicle's cooling system. Pre-shaped for a precise, leak-free fit, this curved hose eliminates the guesswork of cutting straight hose to length and ensures perfectly sealed conditions right out of the box.

Constructed with an EPDM tube and synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, this hose is built to resist heat, ozone, chemical coolants, and electrochemical degradation — the leading cause of coolant hose failure. Specially engineered materials also resist collapse under vacuum, reducing the need for internal support springs in many applications.
