Product Details

The Gates 22303 is a premium molded lower radiator coolant hose designed as a direct OE replacement. Pre-shaped to match original equipment specifications, this curved hose delivers a precise, leak-free fit without modification. With a 1.5-inch inner diameter and an overall centerline length of 20.8 inches, it is engineered to route correctly in the engine bay for a clean, professional installation.

Gates molded coolant hoses are constructed from specially formulated EPDM rubber that resists the electrochemical degradation (ECD) that is the leading cause of premature hose failure. The hose is rated for temperatures from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C), ensuring reliable performance across a wide range of operating conditions.

Key Features:

  • Lower radiator hose position — curved, pre-molded design for OE-accurate fit
  • 1.5 in. inner diameter (I.D.) with 20.8 in. centerline length
  • EPDM construction resists electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure
  • Meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
  • Temperature rated from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Black finish; sold individually
  • Backed by a lifetime Gates limited warranty

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications.
