Product Details

The Gates 22045 is a pre-molded upper radiator coolant hose featuring a 1.25-inch inner diameter and a centerline length of 21.6 inches. Engineered as a direct OE replacement, this curved hose is factory-shaped to fit precisely, ensuring a leak-free seal without modification.

Key Features:

  • OE Replacement Fit: Pre-shaped to match original equipment specifications for a precise, drop-in installation
  • Electrochemical Degradation Resistance: Specifically engineered to resist ECD — the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Vacuum Collapse Resistance: Re-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum, reducing the need for internal support springs
  • Wide Temperature Range: Rated for -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C) in coolant hose applications
  • SAE Compliant: Meets SAE 20R4 and 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
  • Heat & Ozone Resistant Cover: Durable outer cover stands up to harsh underhood environments
  • Inner Diameter: 1.25 in.
  • Overall Length: 21.6 in.
  • Color: Black
  • Position: Upper
  • Sold: Individually

Backed by a lifetime Gates limited warranty, the Gates 22045 molded coolant hose is part of the most comprehensive molded coolant hose line on the replacement market. Gates recommends pairing any new coolant hose installation with Gates PowerGrip SB Clamps for optimal sealing performance.
