Product Details

The Gates 21841 is a premium molded coolant bypass hose engineered to OEM-quality specifications. Constructed from EPDM rubber with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, this pre-shaped hose delivers a precise, leak-free fit right out of the box — eliminating guesswork during installation.

Key Features:

  • Centerline Length: 9-5/16 in. (236 mm)
  • End 1 Inside Diameter: 5/8 in. (15 mm)
  • End 2 Inside Diameter: 3/4 in. (19 mm)
  • Location: Rear bypass
  • Color: Black
  • Material: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and heat-, ozone-, and coolant-resistant EPDM cover
  • Temperature Range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R4, Class D2 and DIN 73411, Class A requirements
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD) — the leading cause of hose failure
  • Specifically engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum
  • Pre-shaped for a perfect fit and perfectly sealed conditions
  • OE replacement — sold individually

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications. Backed by Gates' limited warranty, the 21841 is a trusted direct OE replacement for the cooling system bypass circuit.
