The Gates 21724 is a premium molded coolant bypass hose engineered as a direct OE replacement. Pre-shaped to match the original factory routing, this curved hose installs quickly and seals reliably without modification.

Key Features:

  • OE replacement fit — pre-shaped for a precise, leak-free installation
  • EPDM construction — resists heat, ozone, and chemical coolant degradation
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD) — the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Centerline length: 4 in.
  • Inside diameter: 0.69 in. x 0.81 in. (tapered/stepped ends)
  • Color: Black
  • Sold individually
  • Approved for marine applications
  • Backed by Gates' lifetime limited warranty

Gates molded coolant hoses are manufactured to fit upper, lower, bypass, heater, and other coolant circuit applications with OEM-quality specifications. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed.
