Product Details

The Gates 21055 is a premium molded lower radiator coolant hose engineered as a direct OE replacement. Pre-shaped to match original equipment specifications, this curved hose delivers a precise fit and leak-free seal without modification.

Constructed with an EPDM inner tube and heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM outer cover reinforced with synthetic fiber knit, this hose is built to withstand the demanding conditions of an automotive cooling system. It is specifically engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD) — the leading cause of coolant hose failure — as well as vacuum collapse.

Key Features:

  • Molded OE replacement design for precise fit and easy installation
  • EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement
  • Resistant to heat, ozone, vacuum collapse, and chemical coolants
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD)
  • Lower radiator hose position
  • Black finish
  • Overall centerline length: 24.5 in.
  • Inside diameter: 1.5 in. x 1.75 in. (variable ends)
  • Sold individually
  • Backed by a lifetime Gates limited warranty

Note: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications.
