Product Details

The Daystar KJ09144BK Tailgate Bump Stop Kit solves the common problem of spare tire rattle on 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with oversized tires and wheels. When larger tires with different wheel offsets are mounted on the factory tire carrier, they don't contact the stock rubber stops properly, causing annoying rattles and placing additional stress on the tailgate and carrier assembly.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from Daystar's proprietary EVS foam material for superior durability and vibration dampening
  • Direct replacement for factory tailgate bump stops with threaded installation
  • Trimmable design allows custom fitting to any tire and wheel combination
  • Tool-free installation in minutes—simply thread into existing tailgate mounting points
  • Black finish complements Jeep styling
  • Sold in pairs (complete kit for one vehicle)

These replacement bump stops provide an inexpensive, permanent solution to eliminate spare tire noise and protect your Jeep's tailgate hardware. Simply trim the EVS foam stops to achieve a snug fit against your specific spare tire setup, ensuring quiet operation on and off-road.
