Key Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 235?/249? (Intake/Exhaust)
  • Duration @ .050": 223?/235? (Intake/Exhaust)
  • Valve Lift: .462"/.470" (Intake/Exhaust) with 1.5 rocker ratio
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 112?
  • RPM Range: 1,800-5,800 RPM
  • Hydraulic flat tappet design for reliable street performance

Complete Kit Includes:

  • High-performance camshaft with aggressive Mutha' Thumpr profile
  • 16 hydraulic flat tappet lifters
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in
  • COMP Cams decals
  • Detailed installation instructions

This camshaft produces a very aggressive idle and requires a higher stall speed converter (2,400-2,800 RPM minimum) and 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio for optimal performance. The increased exhaust duration creates the signature thumping idle that made this series famous. Excellent choice for muscle car restorations, street rods, and performance builds where sound and acceleration are priorities.
