The COMP Cams Xtreme Energy CL35-254-4 is a complete hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit engineered specifically for Ford 351 Windsor small block engines. This performance camshaft delivers excellent mid-range torque and horsepower gains, making it ideal for street/strip applications, muscle cars, and performance trucks that see regular street use.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 268°/280° intake/exhaust
  • Duration @ .050": 224°/230° intake/exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .477"/.480" intake/exhaust (with 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 110°
  • Hydraulic flat tappet design for reliable street performance
  • Recommended RPM range: 1,500-5,800 RPM

This camshaft profile provides a smooth idle with a noticeable performance lope, strong acceleration, and excellent drivability. It works well with stock or mildly modified cylinder heads, stock converters (2,000+ stall recommended), and requires aftermarket valve springs for proper operation. The Xtreme Energy lobe design offers improved durability and valve control compared to traditional flat tappet profiles.

Recommended for use with 9.0:1 to 10.5:1 compression ratio and aftermarket headers or performance exhaust system for optimal results.
