The COMP Cams CL11-601-4 Thumpr Cam and Lifter Kit delivers aggressive performance and that signature Thumpr idle for Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 engines. This hydraulic flat tappet camshaft features 235°/249° advertised duration and is specifically designed to produce a lopey idle with strong mid-range power and excellent throttle response.

Key Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 235° Intake / 249° Exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 207° Intake / 221° Exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .477" Intake / .510" Exhaust (with 1.7 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 110°
  • Hydraulic flat tappet design
  • Recommended RPM Range: 1,500-5,400

The Thumpr series is ideal for street rods, muscle cars, and weekend cruisers where aggressive sound and strong performance are desired. This cam works well with stock or mildly modified cylinder heads and requires a 2,200-2,800 RPM stall converter and 9.0:1 minimum compression ratio for optimal performance. Factory fuel injection systems may require recalibration.

Rather amazing and uneventful service in this day and age. Ordered a Thule bike rack for my Nissan Murano. It was in stock (unusual for high-end specialty products), shipped the next day, and was on my doorstep in a few days (excellent for a 60 lb. large box). I'd buy anything from these people without any reservation. AND, your order is insured - completely superfluous. Oh, and did I mention, the lowest price I could find ANYWHERE, and not by a few dollars - a lot.

Excellent service with the actual stock on hand, shipment was made the next day and a tracking number was provided. I have tried 2 other online supply stores which don't know what they have in stock.
