Product Details

The MSD 88867 LS Coil Power Upgrade Harness is a direct plug-in wiring harness engineered to deliver a reliable, dedicated power supply to LS-series ignition coils. OEM wiring on many GM LS-platform vehicles uses varying wire gauges that can fall short of the power demands required by high-output coils, potentially causing improper coil firing, drained engine systems, and an illuminated check engine light. This harness solves that problem by routing dedicated battery voltage directly to the coils.

The 88867 bridges between the factory OEM harness and the coil harnesses on each side of the engine, supplying the additional current needed to fire the coils correctly without robbing other engine systems of power. It is recommended for use with MSD Pro Power LS Coil Packs and is also compatible with stock OE coils.

Key Features:

  • Corrects check engine light caused by inadequate coil power supply
  • Supplies dedicated battery voltage to LS ignition coils for proper firing
  • Direct plug-in design bridges between OEM harness and coil harnesses — no cutting or splicing required
  • Compatible with MSD Pro Power LS Coils and OE stock coils
  • Includes integrated relay mount and 20-amp fused orange power wire for direct battery connection
  • Addresses varying OEM wire gauges across GM LS production vehicles
  • Emissions Code 5 — legal for use on emissions-controlled, non-emissions-controlled, and race-only vehicles
  • Backed by MSD's 1-Year Limited Warranty

Kit Includes:

  • 1 — Power Upgrade Wiring Harness
  • 1 — Fuse Holder

The MSD 88867 is a straightforward, no-modification solution for LS builders and enthusiasts looking to ensure their ignition coils receive clean, full-voltage power — whether on a street build or a dedicated performance application.

Excellent product. Prompt delivery. Will continue use Autoplicity when needed.

Found the parts I needed for my vehicle's TPMS system that I could not get anywhere else. They were a better price than any of the other online stores and got my order shipped out in a timely fashion.

Excellent business. This is my second purchase and there will be more! I ordered my parts over the holiday weekend and they mailed them the Tuesday after Labor Day. The absolute BEST pricing you will get. You will not find a lower price else ware. The shipping doesn't even take forever like most places you get great pricing. Communication is excellent, the site is very easy to use and navigate. I will be doing business with Autoplicity.com many more times and highly recommend them.

I was apprehensiveness at first to make a major purchase with Autoplicity due to their extremely low price and lack of reviews. I decided to take the chance and I am very glad I did. I made my order on a Monday morning at 0900 eastern time and my product arrived on Wednesday at 3pm. The item was exactly as described and the most astonishing part is that my purchase was released from the factory less than 45 days ago. I was expecting a model that had been sitting on a shelf for the last year and needed to be updated. That was not the case. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again in the future.

Best price I could find on the net and super fast shipping.

Very fast shipping, lowest prices on the web.

Fast shipping, good communication, a pleasure to do business with. I would definitely buy from again.
