Cometic C5817-075 GM Gen V/VI Big Block MLS Head Gasket Bore - V8 4.320

The Cometic C5817-075 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM Generation V and Generation VI big block V8 engines. This precision gasket features a 4.320-inch bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .075 inches (0.075"), making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring exact compression control.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• 4.320-inch bore diameter designed for GM Gen V/VI big block applications
• .075-inch compressed gasket thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
• Advanced materials resist extreme temperatures and combustion pressures
• Eliminates leak paths between cylinder head and engine block
• Designed for high-performance and racing applications

Cometic gaskets use multiple layers of stainless steel with embossed sealing beads that allow the gasket to conform to imperfections in sealing surfaces. This technology provides maximum sealing performance in demanding conditions, making it the choice of professional engine builders and performance enthusiasts. The .075-inch thickness allows engine builders to fine-tune compression ratios for optimal power output.
