Product Details

The Cometic C5799-066 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B and RB big block engines. This precision gasket features a .066" compressed thickness and is designed to accommodate a 4.600" bore diameter with a siamese bore configuration.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .066" compressed thickness provides optimal sealing in high-performance applications
  • 4.600" bore diameter designed for stroker and overbored applications
  • Siamese bore design for specific block configurations
  • Compatible with Chrysler B and RB series big block engines including 383, 400, 413, 426, and 440 cubic inch variants
  • Engineered to withstand extreme cylinder pressures in boosted and naturally aspirated applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology to create a gasket that recovers from thermal expansion and contraction cycles. This design maintains consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface, making it ideal for street performance, racing, and high-boost forced induction applications.
