Product Details

The Cometic C5514-070 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Ford Windsor V8 engines. This high-performance gasket features a 4.100-inch bore diameter and .070-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for built engines requiring enhanced sealing capabilities.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 4.100-inch bore diameter accommodates stock and overbored applications
  • .070-inch compressed thickness for proper compression ratio tuning
  • Designed for non-SVO Ford Windsor V8 engines (260, 289, 302, 351W)
  • Exceptional resistance to blowout and combustion seal failure
  • Withstands extreme cylinder pressures in high-performance and forced induction applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology that provides superior rebound characteristics and maintains consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface. The embossed layers create micro-seals around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil galleries for reliable long-term performance.
