Product Details

The Cometic C5498-140 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features an 88.5mm bore diameter and .140" compressed thickness, providing exceptional sealing capabilities for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior durability and heat resistance
  • 88.5mm bore diameter designed for Chrysler 420A/ECC engines
  • .140" (3.56mm) compressed thickness for optimal compression ratio tuning
  • Advanced coating technology provides enhanced sealing under extreme pressures
  • Prevents combustion gas leakage and coolant seepage
  • Ideal for turbocharged and high-boost applications
  • Withstands temperature extremes and cylinder pressure variations

Cometic's MLS head gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with specialized coatings to create a superior seal between the engine block and cylinder head. The .140" thickness makes this gasket an excellent choice for builders looking to adjust compression ratios or accommodate deck height modifications on turbocharged 420A builds.
