Cometic C5498-066 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Bore Chrysler - 88.5mm 420A

The Cometic C5498-066 is a multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features an 88.5mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .066 inches, making it ideal for both stock rebuilds and performance applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-layer steel construction for superior sealing and durability
• 88.5mm bore diameter for proper combustion chamber sealing
• .066" compressed thickness provides reliable compression
• Designed specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engine platforms
• High-temperature resistant materials withstand extreme combustion pressures
• Precision-cut for accurate fitment and consistent clamping pressure

Cometic's MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with proprietary coatings to create a gasket that conforms to sealing surfaces while maintaining structural integrity. The embossed layers provide additional sealing around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil galleries. This design allows the gasket to recover and seal effectively even after repeated heat cycles, making it an excellent choice for performance engines that experience higher temperatures and cylinder pressures than stock applications.
