Product Details

The Cometic C5460-062 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B and RB series V8 engines. This precision gasket features a 4.350-inch bore diameter and 0.062-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring reliable sealing under high combustion pressures.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability
  • 0.062-inch (1.57mm) compressed thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
  • 4.350-inch bore diameter designed for Chrysler B/RB V8 engines
  • Eliminates the need for retorquing after initial installation
  • Superior resistance to blowout and combustion leaks
  • Engineered for both stock and high-performance applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with Viton rubber sealing beads, ensuring consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface. This design accommodates engine movement and thermal expansion while maintaining a positive seal. Compatible with Chrysler big block engines including 383, 400, 413, 426, and 440 cubic inch variants with the specified bore size.
