Product Details

The Cometic C5118-060 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V8 engines. This left-hand side (LHS) gasket features a .060-inch compressed thickness and 92mm bore diameter, making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring enhanced sealing capability.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior strength and durability
  • .060-inch (1.52mm) compressed thickness for precision sealing
  • 92mm bore diameter designed for Ford Modular V8 applications
  • Left-hand side (LHS) configuration
  • Compatible with Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V8 engines
  • Engineered to handle high combustion pressures and thermal cycling

Cometic's MLS gasket technology uses multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating systems to create a gasket that recovers and maintains optimal sealing under extreme conditions. The embossed layers provide multiple sealing points while allowing the gasket to conform to minor surface imperfections. This gasket is an excellent choice for both stock rebuilds and performance applications where reliable cylinder sealing is critical.
