Product Details

The Cometic C4261-080 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Subaru EJ20G turbocharged engines. This gasket features a 93mm bore diameter and 0.080" (2.0mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and boost applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 93mm bore diameter designed for EJ20G applications
  • 0.080" compressed thickness allows for compression ratio tuning
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with fluoroelastomer coating
  • Accommodates cylinder pressure and extreme temperature cycling
  • Engineered for turbocharged and high-performance builds
  • Superior resistance to blow-out compared to composite gaskets

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with a polymer coating that provides exceptional sealing under high-cylinder pressure conditions. The gasket's design allows it to recover and maintain torque retention better than traditional composite head gaskets, making it the preferred choice for turbocharged Subaru engines running increased boost levels.
