Product Details

The Cometic C4156-027 is a high-performance multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Mitsubishi 4G63T turbocharged engine. Designed for Evo 4-8 DOHC applications, this gasket features an 86mm bore and .027" (0.69mm) compressed thickness.

Key Features:

  • Multi-layer steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under high-boost conditions
  • 86mm bore size optimized for stock and performance builds
  • .027" compressed thickness for precise compression ratio control
  • Application-specific design for Mitsubishi 4G63T DOHC engines (Evolution 4-8 only)
  • Exceeds OEM specifications for reliability in turbocharged applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology to maintain seal integrity even under extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures. The embossed layers provide exceptional recovery and conform to sealing surfaces for maximum combustion seal. This gasket is ideal for both stock replacement and performance engine builds where precision and reliability are critical.
