Cusco 381 540 A Type OS Strut Tower Brace - Oval Shaft Aluminum

The Cusco Type OS Strut Tower Brace is the most popular chassis reinforcement bar in the Cusco lineup, combining proven performance with distinctive styling. This strut bar significantly improves chassis rigidity by connecting the strut towers, reducing body flex during cornering and hard driving for more precise handling and steering response.

Key Features:

• Tubular aluminum oval shaft construction for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
• High-polish finish aluminum bar with pressed ribbed or sectioned design depending on application
• Signature Cusco blue powder-coated steel end plates
• Complete bolt-on installation with all required hardware included
• Installs in minutes using standard hand tools
• Application-specific design optimized for each vehicle platform

Cusco engineers select either Type 1 (pressed ribbed) or Type 2 (sectioned) oval shaft construction based on the specific requirements of each vehicle application, ensuring maximum rigidity where it's needed most. The lightweight aluminum construction adds minimal weight while delivering measurable improvements in chassis stiffness, reducing strut tower deflection and improving suspension geometry consistency under load.
