Cometic C4157-070 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Bore Mitsubishi - 85mm 4G63T

The Cometic C4157-070 is a high-performance multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket specifically engineered for Mitsubishi 4G63T DOHC engines found in Evolution IV through VIII models. This gasket features an 85mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .070 inches, making it ideal for turbocharged applications requiring enhanced sealing performance.

Key Specifications:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• 85mm bore diameter for precise fitment
• .070 inch (1.78mm) compressed gasket thickness
• Designed specifically for DOHC 4G63T turbocharged engines
• Compatible with Mitsubishi Evolution IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII models

Cometic's MLS head gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with proprietary coatings that provide maximum sealing and durability. The embossed design allows the gasket to conform to irregular sealing surfaces, while the multiple layers distribute stress more evenly than traditional composite gaskets. This construction is particularly beneficial in high-boost turbocharged applications where cylinder pressure and thermal stress are elevated.

Important: This gasket is designed exclusively for Evolution 4-8 models with the 4G63T DOHC engine. Verify bore size and compressed thickness requirements before installation.
