Product Details

The Cometic C4243-075 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Mitsubishi 6G72 24-valve engine. This gasket features a compressed thickness of .075 inches (1.9mm) and is designed for a 93mm bore diameter, making it ideal for both stock rebuilds and performance applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .075" (1.9mm) compressed thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
  • 93mm bore diameter specifically sized for 6G72 24-valve engines
  • Advanced MLS design accommodates cylinder head movement and thermal expansion
  • High-temperature resistant coatings ensure reliable sealing under extreme conditions
  • Engineered for both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with proprietary coatings that provide exceptional resistance to combustion pressure, heat, and coolant. The flexible design maintains a consistent seal even under the stress of high-performance engines, making this gasket a trusted choice for Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, Dodge Stealth, and other vehicles equipped with the 6G72 DOHC 24-valve engine.
