Cometic C5318-070 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket GM Gen III/IV Bore - LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6 4.160 070

The Cometic C5318-070 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LS Gen III and Gen IV small block V8 engines, including the LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 platforms. This precision gasket features a 4.160-inch bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .070 inches, making it ideal for performance builds and applications requiring superior sealing capability.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel construction provides maximum sealing strength and durability
• 4.160" bore size accommodates standard and slightly overbored LS engines
• .070" compressed thickness allows for custom compression ratio tuning
• Advanced MLS design conforms to cylinder head and block surfaces for superior combustion sealing
• Resistant to extreme temperatures and pressures in high-performance applications
• Compatible with LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 Gen III/Gen IV small block engines

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with precise embossments that ensure optimal sealing around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil galleries. The .070-inch thickness makes this gasket particularly well-suited for performance builds where precise compression ratio control is essential, or where slight deck milling has been performed.
