Product Details

The Cusco Type OS Strut Bar is the most popular chassis reinforcement solution in the Cusco lineup, designed to reduce strut tower flex and improve handling response. This classic strut tower brace features a tubular aluminum oval shaft construction with a high-polish finish that combines lightweight performance with exceptional rigidity.

Key Features:

  • Tubular aluminum oval shaft design for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
  • High-polish aluminum finish for a premium underhood appearance
  • Application-specific design—either pressed ribbed (Type 1) or sectioned (Type 2) construction for maximum rigidity
  • Signature Cusco blue powder-coated end plates
  • Includes all necessary mounting hardware for installation
  • Bolt-on installation in minutes using standard hand tools

By connecting the strut towers and reducing chassis flex, the Type OS strut bar delivers improved steering precision, better cornering stability, and more predictable handling characteristics. The carefully engineered oval shaft profile provides superior rigidity compared to round tube designs while maintaining a lightweight construction that won't add unnecessary weight to your vehicle.
