Product Details

The Competition Engineering 9200 is a one-piece fabricated rear axle housing designed specifically for Ford 9 inch differential applications. CAD-designed and CNC-machined to be stronger and lighter than other styles, this housing is engineered for high-performance and racing applications where durability and weight reduction are critical.

Key Features:

  • Triangulated design provides the structural integrity required for racing
  • Made from mild steel with 1/8 inch thick outer shell and 1/4 inch thick faceplate
  • Full-bodied car style with cut-to-length 3 inch O.D. x .250 inch wall axle tubes
  • 60.75 inches overall width
  • Faceplate accepts 3/8 inch press-in studs
  • Includes drain plug, filler plug, and breather plug
  • Exterior welds ground smooth to eliminate stress risers

This housing offers significant strength advantages over three-piece stock housings and is compatible with Competition Engineering housing brace part number C9205 for additional reinforcement. The axle tubes can be cut to length for custom applications, making it ideal for drag racing, street performance, and custom builds.
