Cusco 517 541 A Strut Bar Type OS Rear Aluminum Shock Tower Brace

The Cusco 517 541 A Type OS Strut Bar is one of Cusco's most popular and enduring chassis reinforcement solutions. Engineered to reduce strut tower flex and improve overall chassis rigidity, this rear strut tower brace delivers a noticeable improvement in handling precision and cornering stability.

Constructed from a high-polish tubular aluminum oval shaft, the Type OS offers an excellent balance of lightweight construction and structural stiffness. Cusco offers two internal reinforcement designs to optimize rigidity for each specific application — the Type 1 pressed ribbed design and the Type 2 sectioned design — and has pre-selected the ideal configuration for this fitment.

Key Features:

• Tubular aluminum oval shaft construction with high-polish finish
• Type 1 pressed ribbed cross-section for maximum rigidity in this application
• End plates finished in Cusco's signature blue powdercoat
• Includes all required mounting hardware
• Tool-free-friendly installation — bolts on in minutes with standard hand tools
• Reduces chassis flex for improved balance and steering response

The Cusco Type OS strut bar is a bolt-on upgrade that requires no permanent modifications. It is an ideal first suspension upgrade for enthusiasts looking to sharpen chassis response during spirited street driving or light track use.
