Product Details

The Cusco Type OS is one of the most popular strut tower bars in the Cusco lineup, renowned for its classic design and effective chassis rigidity improvement. Featuring a tubular aluminum oval shaft (OS) with a high-polish finish, this front strut bar is engineered to reduce chassis flex and improve steering response and cornering stability.

Key Features:

  • Oval Shaft (OS) Design – The signature tubular aluminum oval shaft delivers high rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum
  • High-Polish Aluminum Finish – Clean, show-quality appearance straight out of the box
  • Steel End Plates – Finished in the traditional Cusco blue for a distinctive, brand-authentic look
  • Type 1 Cross-Section – Features a pressed ribbed cross-section, pre-selected by Cusco engineers for this specific application
  • Bolt-On Installation – Installs in minutes using standard hand tools; all required hardware included
  • Front Strut Tower Application – Mounts across the front shock towers to brace the strut tops against each other, reducing body flex under load

Cusco strut tower bars, also known as strut braces or shock tower braces, are a proven suspension upgrade for unibody and monocoque chassis vehicles equipped with MacPherson struts. By tying the front strut towers together, the Type OS bar helps maintain consistent suspension geometry during aggressive cornering, resulting in more predictable handling. This is a direct bolt-on fitment with no cutting or modification required.
