Prothane 7-505 GM Type B Tall Polyurethane Engine Mount Insert Kit

The Prothane 7-505 is an application-specific polyurethane engine mount insert kit designed for GM vehicles, featuring the Type B Tall profile. Engineered to replace soft, worn OEM rubber mounts, this kit dramatically reduces engine movement to improve throttle response, minimize driveline slop, and transfer more power directly to the wheels.

Key Features:

• Application-specific engineering — not a universal fitment
• High-durometer polyurethane construction for superior durability over OEM rubber
• Reduces engine torque movement and chassis flex under acceleration
• Poly-locked "run-safe" design — retains the engine even if the mount is pushed to its limits
• Limits travel and reduces the risk of breakage during hard use
• Improved feel and drivetrain response compared to stock rubber mounts
• Direct OEM replacement fit — no drilling or modification required

Prothane motor mount inserts are a favorite upgrade for performance street and track builds alike. The polyurethane material resists oil, heat, and ozone degradation, ensuring long-lasting performance that outlasts standard rubber. Kit includes all necessary hardware for installation.
