Vision X Headlights: Where Engineering Meets the Road
Vision X has been pushing the boundaries of automotive lighting since 1997, and their headlight lineup is one of the clearest demonstrations of that engineering pedigree. Founded in 1997, Vision X didn't just enter the lighting industry — they changed it, helping to revolutionize LED lighting by challenging outdated technology and pushing performance further than anyone thought possible. That same relentless innovation is baked into every headlight they produce.
The VX Series: A Flagship Headlight Platform
Vision X's flagship VX Series offers DOT-approved LED headlights with integrated halo rings in 7", 5.75" round, and 4x6" rectangle configurations, available in chrome or black finishes with an IP-68/69K ingress protection rating. That level of waterproofing means these headlights can handle everything from river crossings to heavy rain without skipping a beat.
Vision X incorporates features from their light bar lineup into the VX Series headlights, which use 10W LEDs powered by Vision X's Prime Drive Technology. Every part of the VX Series headlight is DOT-compliant, making it a worry-free upgrade for street and trail use alike. The 7" VX Series was designed to fit any vehicle currently using a 7" factory headlight or a custom 7" mounting area — with Jeeps, classic cars, and motorcycles all kept in mind during engineering.
IRIS Reflector Technology & the Vortex Series
Vision X's headlights also benefit from the same optical technology found in their legendary light bars. The Vortex high beam utilizes the same IRIS Reflector technology used in Vision X's popular Light Cannon series, and these long-range reflectors help push the light from the high beam LEDs to surprising distances. For the low beam, Vision X conducted extensive research and engineered the mode for optimized road coverage by using two LEDs with elliptical lenses on the sides of the headlight housing, filling in the road space between the vehicle and the low beam to create a safer overall driving experience.
A direct plug-and-play kit for Jeep JK owners is also available, including a Canbus Adapter to remove electrical interference that sometimes occurs. This attention to fitment detail is characteristic of Vision X's approach to headlight design.
Crystal Headlights & Broader Compatibility
Vision X LED headlights are DOT-compliant and available in different sizes and styles, often featuring integrated amber or white halo rings. For those seeking a more classic aesthetic, Vision X also offers 5 3/4" round crystal headlights made of high-quality materials and designed using state-of-the-art technology with long service life in mind.
Built and Tested to Perform
What separates Vision X headlights from budget alternatives is their rigorous testing process. All products are tested on a digital power meter for electrical faults, cycled through extreme temperature chambers ranging from -40°C to 80°C, run for 72 hours to confirm full operational status, and then sprayed with high-pressure water to verify the ingress protection rating. The company's strong portfolio is backed by over 500 patents across automotive, off-road, mining, maritime, and other segments.
Whether you're upgrading a daily driver, a Jeep build, or a classic motorcycle, Vision X headlights deliver professional-grade illumination with the engineering depth to back it up.
