Product Details

The Dayco 81231 flexible radiator hose is engineered to replace straight or molded radiator hoses on a wide range of automotive engine applications. This precision-corrugated hose features synthetic EPDM rubber construction with knitted reinforcement and an integrated helical steel coil spring, providing superior flexibility without flattening or collapsing under pressure.

Key Features:

  • 13.25-inch length with stepped diameter from 1.5" to 1.75" inside diameter
  • Helical steel coil spring insert maintains full coolant flow and resists vacuum collapse
  • Knitted reinforcement and EPDM construction for durability
  • Corrugated cover design allows easy bending to replicate OE hose routing
  • Resists splitting, ballooning, ozone, environmental elements, and temperature extremes
  • Meets SAE J20R5 Class D-1 specifications
  • Temperature range: -40°F to 212°F (-40°C to 100°C)

This universal flex hose is ideal for custom cooling system installations or replacement applications where molded hoses are not available. The flexible design adapts to tight engine compartments while maintaining proper coolant flow. Hose clamps sold separately.
