Product Details

The Borla 140446 ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust System delivers aggressive sound and maximum performance for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra models with 4.6L or 5.4L engines and manual transmissions. This true dual exhaust system features Borla's signature ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) muffler technology, engineered to produce the most aggressive sound in the Borla lineup while maintaining exceptional exhaust flow and performance gains.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from premium T-304 aircraft-grade stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and durability
  • ATAK muffler design provides the most aggressive, race-inspired exhaust note available from Borla
  • True dual exhaust configuration with split rear exits for optimal flow and distinctive appearance
  • Mandrel-bent tubing maximizes exhaust velocity and minimizes back pressure for improved horsepower and torque
  • Complete cat-back system includes connection pipes, mufflers, polished tips, and all necessary mounting hardware
  • Direct bolt-on installation designed specifically for Mustang Cobra applications
  • Backed by Borla's One Million Mile Warranty for unmatched confidence and protection

Unlike coated mild steel or aluminum systems that deteriorate at weld points and seams, Borla's through-and-through stainless steel construction maintains structural integrity and appearance even under the most demanding conditions. The ATAK system is ideal for enthusiasts seeking maximum sound aggression without sacrificing quality or longevity. This system is designed exclusively for manual transmission-equipped Cobra models and delivers the distinctive Borla performance advantage that has made them the exhaust choice of champions.

I ordered and it was delivered on time. Can't get better then that.

Autoplicity was an easy and simple transaction! It is appreciated when an online retailer is responsive to customer's needs. I contact Autopilicity over the phone on several occasions and was promptly greeted with a professional Customer Service representative that was immediately capable of answering my questions and concerns. Thank you Autopilicty and keep up the great work!

Found on Amazon first, decided to go Autoplicity.com website to check price and it was $20 cheaper than Amazon. Part arrived in a couple of days. Fit and worked perfectly.

Everything went great.

A Quick delivery great price

I had a great experience shopping at autoplicity

Great price found for my product. excellent customer service and my item was in stock.

Ordering was very easy and product was delivered within a week. I ordered a battery and it was received in good condition and works. I would recommend autoplicity to others.

This is our second order from Autoplicity. The first one didn't go so well due to a mix up with the Sparco seat pricing. Though I was starting to question our decision to order from them after several emails and phone calls and online chats, they came through in the end. These guys earned our second order by honoring the price they had listed and then calling to follow up when our race seat was shipped. Since this group was able turn our bad experience into a positive one we made our second order and, so far, it looks like they are again getting us what we want at the best price we can find. We are happy to recommend Autoplicty and plan on using them for future orders. There is one specific thing we would recommend, change the quality and volume of the hold music on the 800 #. It sounded like we were calling a 1970's van with a blown Jensen stereo turned all the way up,...

Shipped very quickly and had the best price I could find!

Great prices on most things. Ordered on a sunday and they processed and shipped the order the next day.

I found what I wanted and it was overall a pleasant experience.

Everything was fine except I had an issue at the checkout. I tried to pay with my American Express but could not as there was an AVS mismatch, but it worked with my master card. I am in Australia and had the items sent to and American address so I would a

first order fast shipping and great fit

The whole process was some and quick. They also had the lowest prices available. Will be using them more often for sure!!

This was my first order with Autoplicity and I am very happy. They had the lowest price on-line that I found. Communication was great and shipping was very fast. I ordered late on Thursday and it was at my house the following Tuesday, and I didn't pay for rush shipping. I got exactly what I expected. Will do business with these guys again.
