Product Details

The MBRP S5520409 Armor Plus Series cat-back exhaust system delivers enhanced performance and durability for 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited models with the 4.0L inline-6 engine. This complete exhaust upgrade features T409 stainless steel construction that resists corrosion while offering an excellent value for performance enthusiasts.

Key Features:

  • T409 stainless steel construction with lifetime warranty coverage
  • Mandrel-bent 2.5-inch tubing for maximum exhaust flow and power gains
  • Single side exit with turndown tail configuration
  • Improved exhaust tone without excessive drone
  • Corrosion-resistant material that's easy to clean and maintain
  • Complete cat-back system for straightforward installation

Performance Benefits: Mandrel bending eliminates restrictions and rippling in the pipe bends, allowing smoother exhaust flow compared to factory systems. This improved flow helps your engine breathe better, resulting in increased horsepower, enhanced throttle response, and improved fuel efficiency. The 2.5-inch diameter tubing is optimized for the 4.0L engine's output characteristics.

Durability: T409 stainless steel offers superior rust resistance compared to aluminized steel, making it ideal for moderate climates and daily drivers. While it provides excellent protection against penetrating rust, exposure to heavy salt, winter road treatments, or coastal environments may accelerate surface corrosion over time.

Installation Note: This system requires cutting of the factory exhaust for proper fitment. Professional installation is recommended for best results.

Almost a perfect score! I was pleased with the customer service but knowledge about their products warranties was lacking. Other than that, the representative that I spoke with on the phone was great. He was friendly and had a good overall knowledge of the products I was asking about. Pointed me in the right direction because I couldn't be happier with my bike rack. They had the best prices, lowest shipping costs, and my order arrived a day early. Great website to work with. I will definitely be doing business again and spreading the word about Autoplicity.com.

I got all of my parts in and where happy with them. The website is about the cheapest around. Something about them really gives me a good feeling. :)
